Lebanon County MH/ID/EI is continuing its commitment to mental health education by offering free community training sessions designed to strengthen awareness, reduce stigma, and provide practical tools for supporting those in need.

Mental health challenges affect millions of individuals and families every year. By offering this training, we hope to empower community members with knowledge and resources to recognize signs of mental distress, respond effectively, and promote overall well-being.
“By providing accessible mental health education, we aim to create a stronger, more compassionate community,” said Kasey Felty, Director of Mental Health, Lebanon County MH/ID/EI.

Mental health first aid training highlights:
Identify, understand and respond to signs of mental health and substance use challenges
Provide initial support to someone experiencing a crisis
Encourage appropriate professional help
Assess the risk of suicide
Local resources and referral options
Who should attend:
Community members, caregivers, educators, employers, and anyone interested in learning more about mental health.
Date & location:
May 14, 2026, 8:30 to 4:30 p.m. This training will be held at Lebanon County MH/ID/EI located at 220 East Lehman Street, Lebanon 17046. A second opportunity to take the training will be on October 6, 2026.
