SAN ANTONIO — A 20-year-old woman was hospitalized after police say she was attacked by another woman who was experiencing a mental health crisis.
The incident happened around 5:20 p.m. Friday in the 9100 block of Excellence Drive.
Police say the suspect attacked the woman and she ran for help. Investigators determined the suspect was experiencing a mental health crisis at the time.
The victim was transported to a local hospital in stable condition. The suspect, 53, was apprehended at the scene.
